^27 (A)With the pure You show Yourself pure,
^(B)And with the crooked You show Yourself ^[a]astute.
^28 (C)And You save an afflicted people;
^(D)But Your eyes are on the haughty whom You bring down.
^29 (E)For You are my lamp, O Yahweh;
And Yahweh illumines my darkness.
